I felt sad last night and I wasn’t able to sleep well. I was on a trip to memory lane and I was going back through my stay in UP for the last 4 years. I can’t help remembering the friends that I had during my first year and in my first set of GE subjects. I was frustrated because I can’t remember the names of those former friends even though their faces are crystal clear to me. Sigh.
A day in the life…- 10 hours of sleep. It’s been quite a while since the last one.
- Woke up rushing to print stuff @ Arkishop.
- Thesis predelibs!
- Lunch with friends @ Manang’s Chicken. It’s too bad the others weren’t there.
- Read the newspaper and learned that there are some interesting major events that happened in the country during the past 3 days. I wasn’t aware because I was too preoccupied with thesis.
- Waited for Le Adviser to sign my thesis schematics sheets and then passed them to the faculty. Yey!
- Went on to have a good an excellent and happy evening.
- It’s Teacher’s Day! There’s a lot of chocolate in the ref! I ate too much and now I can’t sleep. [My mother is a teacher, BTW.]
This is no time to be complacent.I am definitely in high spirit after the deadline for the submission of thesis schematics was moved to October 3, from September 27. I wasn’t able to sleep well last night hoping for it to be moved. Even today, I felt stressed and drained just thinking about thesis and how much time is being “wasted” in attending other classes.
That extra 6 days will surely help a lot especially when other subjects are interfering with thesis. With that said, now is not the time to be complacent. Thesis it!

This is the reason I took up architecture. When I saw pictures of the Sagrada de Familia by Antoni Gaudi back in high school, I was inspired by its magnificence even in its unfinished state. I said to myself: “I want to do something like this.”
